I open, firstly, with apologies to the reader for delays in publishing this article. However, our topic will explore the most complex UFO case in the world, in which a distinctively designed craft that we later learned was reconfigurable in sections, appears in several locations across a span of twenty years, is photographed by dozens of eyewitnesses, becoming the subject of multiple debunking efforts and dismissals, yet several individuals come forward to reveal governmental involvement, the presence of a secretive lab, and describe the craft's near-mystical flight process, and then… again recedes info obscurity, not to be seen again.
Given that, due to its complexity and wealth of data, this case will be divided into multiple parts, we may begin with the history of the case and the accounts that marked its discovery.
HISTORY
In the Spring and Summer of 2007, several emails of eyewitness reports and photographs from different parts of California were submitted to the radio program Coast to Coast AM. The reports describe, and photographs show, an enigmatic-looking craft, often seen flying low near power lines, trees, or open fields. It is true that UFO photographs typically show flying objects in all shapes and sizes, but the images in this case show what is perhaps the most anti-aerodynamic flying craft ever photographed.
Simultaneously, most of the reports and photos were also sent to Emmy-winning investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe, who shared them on her Earthfiles.com website. As she reported on these first photographs, Howe was gradually contacted by more witnesses and anonymous individuals providing additional accounts and information. To keep track of the initial sightings, Howe located the first reported sightings of the craft in California on this map:
Red circles mark sites where odd, aerial drones have been reported in California, including Big Basin Redwood State Park and Capitola north of Monterey; Lake Tahoe; Yosemite National Park; Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park; Bakersfield general region; and Northridge, California, near Los Angeles. Outside California eyewitness locations have been May 2006 in Birmingham, Alabama; 1987 in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana; and June 25, 2007, near Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama. (Source: Earthfiles.com)
One of the first photographs of the craft in question was submitted in May, 2007 near Bakersfield, California by a witness named “Chad,” whose series of photos were among the most detailed and puzzling of all eventually released photographs. Three of Brad’s images, which were taken as the craft apparently approached him, show the craft structure to be a horizontal hollow ring (whose diameter appears to be between 6 and 8 feet) with 5 flat plane-like wings radiating in various directions and 16 curved antenna-type wires protruding up vertically from the periphery of the main ring.

in his accompanying email, Chad stated that, on the previous month, during a daytime walk with his wife, they chanced upon the craft, and took the first photo using a cellphone. Subsequently ready with a digital camera, Brad and a neighbor sought out and eventually found the craft again, and took the second and third of the photos shown above. His description of the craft’s movement was clear:
The craft is almost completely silent and moves very smoothly. It usually moves slowly until it decides to take off. Then it moves VERY quickly and is out of sight in the blink of an eye. MORE THAN ANYTHING I simply want to understand what this is and why it is here?
Later, in a follow up email, Chad reported having encountered the craft eight times, and that many neighbors have also seen it. Of additional interest was the sound it emitted:
It is almost totally silent but not quite. It makes kind of “crackling” noises. It’s hard to describe them but they are only intermittent and not very loud, but you can notice them. Sometimes there is a very slight hum that sounds kind of mechanical, almost like when you are near very large power lines. But it is nothing loud like a jet engine, it is very quiet for the most part.
As readers already know, I believe that UFO’s do not typically fly by means of a local gravity field (a common belief) but rather by controlled electromagnetic modulation, for two reasons. First is the ease with which antigravity can be obtained, it is much easier to generate magnetic fields in equal polarity to the earth, thus creating a repulsive effect that can be vectored toward levitation (we have already done this in experiments, as videos show). Second, witnesses and objects in close proximity to UFO’s will often hear buzzing, see their hair stand on end, and report the smell of ionized air – sensations consistent with electromagnetic forces – and yet never report perturbations in gravity of objects under the craft. After all, a localized gravity field around a UFO would also attract or repel objects in close proximity to the craft, a behavior that has never been reported. Finally, Brad added that “it sounds like power lines if you get close enough to it.”
On May 12, 2007, the same month as Brad’s report was received by the Coast to Coast AM radio program, a second eyewitness report involving the same craft was filed with MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, by a witness named Deborah McKinley in San Jose, California. She reported that a week earlier, in Lake Tahoe, she encountered the same craft (the MUFON report is courtesy The Black Vault).

As with Chad’s report, Deborah said that the craft “didn’t make any noise except for a very, very faint sound that is hard to describe but sounded like something vibrating.”
In turn, eight days after this report, a witness named Rajinder Satyanarayana created an account on Flickr.com in order to post a set of photographs, three of which are shown here:

And again, three weeks after these photos were uploaded, a man named Stephen took three photos of the same craft, which by this time was found flying in Big Basin, California. A user named Jenna L. posted three of these photos on the website www.ufocasebook.com:
The above image, enhanced using Photoshop:
Every witness’s email recounted a similar story of a coincidental encounter with the craft, which moved slowly from place to place but would shoot up suddenly. By now, Linda Moulton Howe was receiving more reports, including one containing the following photo from a “Ty Brannigan”, reported on June 5, 2007, and once again, near Saratoga in Big Basin Red Woods State Park, California:
Howe then received further photographic evidence along with an email from “John Smith,” a government contractor. The images in John’s photography date from a year earlier, May 2006, in Birmingham, Alabama, and show a variation of the craft, which, following in a theme of sorts – again appears to be hovering close to a utility pole:
In what had now become something of a chain reaction, Howe's timely disclosure of John Smith’s eyewitness account and photograph prompted yet another contractor with U.S. government ties to come forward with additional information.
This man, an engineer, mentioned having been at an air show in Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana twenty years earlier, in 1987, when he encountered the same craft in a hangar which he was touring. He estimated it to be twenty-five feet long, and, as he was observing it, men in military uniforms appeared and abruptly declared the hangar off limits, ordering the tour group to leave. But he recalled its shape and remembered it being described as “some kind of surveillance or intelligence-gathering drone.”
Then, yet again, Howe received another report of someone sighting the same craft one year earlier, on June 10, 2006, when a mother with her children at Yosemite National Park, California saw the flying object and sent a drawing she had made to Earthfiles.com:
This witness offered another important detail to Howe: the craft seemed responsive to lights pointed at it:
My oldest, who is 10, decided to shine his powerful flashlight on it to get a better look. I didn’t even have a chance to react to what he was doing when things got weird – it was like the moment the flashlight light hit the thing, it jerked very quickly and started to move in another direction. The boys found this amusing to say the least. They chased after it and hit it with the light again, which caused the thing to change direction a second time. I ran to keep up with them.
The boys did this maybe three or four more times until the thing finally stopped reacting to them and just – stopped. Like, literally froze in the air without even slowing down. I must say, seeing this thing totally motionless was a lot more unsettling than seeing it move. Even the boys stopped in their tracks at that point. It just hung there for about 5 seconds, and then got going again.
As with so many UFO sightings, there was no additional information beyond eyewitness descriptions to help answer where the craft came from, who built it, and why it was there, or how it worked.
Then, a government contractor spoke out anonymously, providing an exceptional amount of detail and documentation, and telling the story of the craft, its purpose and function, and where it came from.
This disclosure, and the crucial developments that followed, as well as the metaphysical implications of the craft, will be the subject of our next article.
Extremely interesting! Curious as to it's reaction when a flashlight is shone upon it. Can't wait for the next article!!
Inteeresting case - I wonder if that saucer on the trucks in Bakersfield posted by multiple witnesses recently would be worth a bit of investigation.
